My friend Kate showed me this link earlier tonight, and I've spent (wasted) the better part of the past two hours on it. Basically you get on this site and it automatically pairs you up with a random person, and you chat. Either person can disconnect from the conversation at any point, and start another conversation with another, totally anonymous person. All I've really learned is that it's flooded by 4chan goons.
Omegle
Omegle is a brand-new service for meeting new friends. When you use Omegle, we pick another user at random and let you have a one-on-one chat with each other. Chats are completely anonymous, although there is nothing to stop you from revealing personal details if you would like.
I wish I'd saved some of the more interesting conversations, but here's a few excerpts:
Stranger: you know edible arrangements?
Stranger: i was thinking
Stranger: what if there were edible arrangments
Stranger: except with dried meats
Stranger: so like a turkey jerky petunia
Stranger: and a beef log stem
Stranger: and with all this populist outrage over the financial crisis i could serve sundried CEO heads as the centerpiece
-------------------
Stranger: Evnin
You: Hi there
You: How're ya
Stranger: Fucked over, not litteraly tho :(
You: Oh shit, why?
You: Is everything ALRIGHT?
Stranger: I cinda go, Given upp, And let down..Desserted, And i cried
Stranger: But its never gonna give me upp, Never gonna let you down..
You: Oh no.
You: Ricky
Stranger: Im afriad so
You: D:
You: D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
You: After a while they stop looking like D: and start looking like :D

Stranger: Mhm, It feels like getting rickrolled by your fucking 50 year old parents

Late night blues.
Foxes in Fiction - "Cut 'n" Paste Song For Erika" *Newer version + guitar chords*
So it's 4 AM again and I'm sitting in front of my computer, doing the exact same thing I've been doing for too many nights now. I don't want to think about how many hours of my life I've wasted sitting here. For what it's worth, I bought a cheap little lamp today for this one little corner of my studio area that never sees any light whatsoever. Sort of a fun story. The base looks like iris from a someone who has green and brown eyes. I sound like Martha Stewart but it's amazing how much different lighting can make. I love it. I don't care. I'm going to bed.
Here's a song I made for my friend Erika earlier tonight. The schizophrenic melody is made from a chopped up guitar track playing the first two chords from Femme Fatale by The Velvet Underground. Does this make me a bastard?
The spoken part towards the end is me reading a description of a dream I had last night. Have a nice Wednesday, everyone.

P.S. God bless melatonin.

NOISE TRACK
I'm not sure why I'm sharing this.
Twenty minutes of pedal-processed microphone feedback noise.
Here is a visual diagram to explain the process.
Sorry everyone!

Bowling alley blues.
Hi! This is my first post in a little while, mainly because I've been so busy with so many things... but I'm going try not to neglect my widdle bwog any mo'.
SO it's 4:11 in the PM and I've only been up for about an hour. I'm back in the cycle. I spent the night in Hamilton with my good friends Ceda and Mike playing sort of a reunion show at a bowling alley with a bunch of other really talented musicians. Very good and tiring times.
Today really feels like Sunday. Pretty unmotivated to do much of anything. Though, I just placed orders for 50 cardboard CD sleeves, aswell as a box of 50 Piracetam capsules from a website called BoostYourGrade.com. We'll have to see how that goes.
The White Stripes - "Red Bowling Ball Ruth"
Bold things to watch for in the future:
1. Foxes in Fiction EP which will be completed in the very near future. Inquire for a free copy.
2. An animation featuring original recorded music, which I am writing right now.
3. April compilation Mix
4. MORE FUN, EXCITING AND ULTRA-STIMULATING BLOG POSTS THAT MAKE EVERYONES DAY BETTER.
5. Spring!, it's coming!
Also, I've been sort of obsessed with this video/song lately:
Take care, lovers.

Shakey and exhausted.
Another cover, created for my friend John... Recorded straight to my sampler in one take last Wednesday morning. Spacey overdubs + reverb party later introduced through Ableton Live 6. :)
A big thank you to Bill and Alyssa for kidnapping me from my home at about 1 AM this morning. Northern Burlington has never been more exciting, I'm serious.
Enjoy.
